The Minibus Agency Needs You! The Minibus Agency provides group minibus transport to user groups all over Merseyside. However, many of the groups, have difficulty in finding drivers. The Minibus Agency has a group of volunteers who are the life blood of the Agency. They give up some spare time, to drive for these groups. Our Volunteers receive Minibus Drivers Awareness Training (MiDAS) to the accessible standard and receive expenses when on duty. Our Volunteers come from all walks of life and all age groups. If you need more information, like to get out and about, or just fancy a cup of coffee, call in and see us. You will never know unless you ask!	Speke Garston Minibus Agency GROUP TRANSPORT The Minibus Agency provides high quality low cost community transport to community, charitable and voluntary organisations in Merseyside. Our accessible modern fleet of minibuses can be driven by a MiDAS trained group member or it may be possible to find a volunteer to drive for your group. Our fleet mainly consists of the new LDV Maxus and LDV Convoy minibuses. All vehicles are fully maintained, insured and have RAC relay breakdown cover. The Agency conducts Minibus Drivers Awareness Training (MiDAS) for all group and volunteer driver.The training provides the tehnical, leagle and practical knowledge that is requred when driving a minibus. As well as being taught how to use the specalist equipment.
The Speke Garston Minibus Agency is a member of Merseyside Communities On The Move (MCOM). MCOM's membership consists of representative of all the main community transport operators in Merseyside and Halton. Most meetings also have a representative from Merseytravel. The main purpose of MCOM is to raise standards, awareness and promote Community Transport in Merseyside.
